Students serve as admission ambassadors at Fort Lewis College
Admission ambassadors play a key role in the Office of Admission's recruitment efforts by professionally and authentically representing Fort Lewis College to prospective students, their parents and family, the high school and community college guidance community, as well as visitors to the Durango area. Ambassadors are chosen through a rigorous application and interview process and are selected based on their campus involvement, academic success, and enthusiasm for Fort Lewis College.

Nearly 600 high school seniors competed in Augustana College's annual Scholarship Competition on January 17, 2015. Students competed for $4,000 scholarships awarded by each academic department at Augustana. Winners of the scholarships will be notified by March 1, 2015.

Students serve as resident assistants at Fort Lewis College
Resident Assistants are student staff members who live on a floor in a college residence hall to serve as primary resources for information and assistance. The objectives of Resident Assistants are to exhibit a concern for others and relate in a positive manner to the students. They are responsible for creating a living environment that is conducive to the academic mission of the College, maintaining the safety of the facility, and assisting the student in their college experiences.
